Email notification settings

Connect an EmailJS service to send an alert to the selected approver after a gate pass is saved. These settings are shared across users. Only enter the public key, never an email password or private key.

One-time setup instructions
  1. Create an account at EmailJS and connect your sending email service.
  2. Create a template with To Email set to {{to_email}}, Subject set to {{subject}}, and body set to {{message}}. Use the standard escaped template variables. Set Reply-To to {{reply_to}}.
  3. Copy the service ID, template ID, and public key into the fields above. Restrict allowed origins to your hosted website in EmailJS.
  4. Add email addresses for existing approvers below. New accounts require an email address.
  5. Host the HTML on your website and submit a request to check delivery. Email acceptance is not a guarantee of inbox delivery. Check spam folders.

Requests remain saved if email sending fails. Delivery is attempted by this browser while the page is open, with no automatic background retry. The existing application uses browser-based account checks and stores passwords in the database. Proper server-side authentication and database access rules are needed before production use.
